Arm-r-seal
Arm-R-Seal Oil-Based Topcoats are made with the highest-quality urethane resin, making them extremely durable and long-lasting. Formulated to be wiped on with a cloth or applied with a foam brush, they penetrate to provide deep-down protection for that "natural" look. Available in satin, semi-gloss, and gloss.
enduro-var
Enduro-Var II is a reformulation of our original oil-modified, ambering, water-based topcoat. It replaces original Endurovar and is made with more than 70% RENEWABLE RESOURCES formulated from sustainable materials that decrease the carbon footprint and can be used with all of GF's water-based products. The new formula dries to a lighter amber than the previous formula, is highly water-resistant, and is both sprayable and brushable. Available in satin, semi-gloss, and gloss. flat out flat
Flat Out Flat is a self-crosslinking water-based topcoat that mimics the lustrous look and feel of wax. The increased matting agents used to create the "flat look" cause this wood finish to have less clarity, show fingerprints more, and provide slightly less durability than High Performance. It is recommended for low-use projects other than kitchen cabinets and table tops.

Winner of Fine Woodworking's "Best Overall Choice Award," High Performance Topcoat was voted as the hardest, most durable consumer polyurethane topcoat. It is so versatile, it can be brushed or sprayed. Available in flat, satin, semi-gloss, and gloss.
Gel topcoat
Gel Satin Topcoat has been a long-time favorite finish of woodworkers, with a heavy-duty oil-and-urethane base that produces a beautiful, hand-rubbed look. Gel Satin Topcoat has a thick consistency, so there are no drips, or runs.
exterior 450
Exterior 450 Topcoat is a clear-drying finish suitable for vertical exterior surfaces, such as fences, patio furniture, garage doors and entrance doors. It is not recommended as a deck finish. Exterior 450 is fortified with UV absorbers to stabilize and protect the integrity of the finish*, and built-in mildewcides to slow mold and mildew growth. It performs well as a clear coat or as an optional topcoat over darker colors of General Finishes Milk Paint. Do not use over light or white paints as yellowing may occur. Available in satin and semi-gloss.
